How it works: from an empty drop record to sold out in six steps

Setup · one afternoon

From an empty drop record to a sold-out release, tracked second by second. Setup takes one afternoon; every drop after that is a duplicate.

One Drop ID binds the waitlist, the widgets, the emails and the analytics.

You fill the drop record once. Everything else, from the countdown on your product page to the email that goes out at T-00:00, reads from it.

Install on Shopify
[VLT>STEPS]

Follow a drop from the first click in the admin to the report you read the next morning.

Create the drop

  1. (01)Name and products
  2. (02)Start time and max units
  3. (03)Lock as READY

Fill the record once.

Create a drop in the Vaultd admin and fill the record: drop name, the products and variants involved, start time, maximum units and stock rules. Lock the configuration to mark it READY.

01

Get a Drop ID

  1. (01)One identifier
  2. (02)Binds every module
  3. (03)Nothing set up twice

One ID binds everything.

Vaultd issues a single identifier for the release, such as VLT-2291. The waitlist, widgets, emails and analytics all bind to it, so nothing is configured twice and nothing points at the wrong drop.

02

Embed the widgets

  1. (01)Countdown
  2. (02)Social proof
  3. (03)Join the waitlist

Paste the ID in the theme editor.

In the Shopify theme editor, add the Vaultd blocks and paste the Drop ID: countdown, teaser, social proof and the Join the waitlist button, with several designs per widget.

03

Connect the emails

  1. (01)On signup
  2. (02)At T-00:00
  3. (03)On sell-out

Timed against the start.

Pick the sequence for this drop. Each message is personalised with the waitlist position and access window, and timed against the start time you set in step one.

04

Launch and track

  1. (01)Sales velocity
  2. (02)Stock remaining
  3. (03)Buyers and sources

Speed mode, second by second.

The drop goes live on schedule or automatically. Watch conversion, velocity, stock, buyers and traffic sources in Speed mode while it sells.

05

Read the stats

  1. (01)Compared with the last drop
  2. (02)Interest and deal rates
  3. (03)Heatmap and export

Analysis mode, saved to history.

Every finished drop lands in your history with its name, Drop ID, date and a headline figure. Search the archive, open Details for the full breakdown, and export it as PDF or CSV.

06

If your next release has to sell out, run it on Vaultd. Install the app, create a drop, and watch it move on the numbers instead of guesswork.
